Christopher guides the strategic direction of the company and oversees the recruiting and managing of all athletes. As a respected veteran in the industry, Rivers has dedicated his life to mentoring young men as they navigate the journey from high school, to college, the NBA and life beyond basketball. His extensive experience with athletes at all levels allows him to advise athletes and their families on issues both in the locker room and in life.

Before founding Tribute Sports Management, Rivers served as a top sports marketing executive within Adidas Basketball where he co-managed a $60-Million-Dollar budget that included player endorsements, event sponsorships, league partnerships brand activations, and college and grassroots initiatives. During his tenure, Rivers recruited and managed over 60 NBA athletes including James Harden, Damian Lillard, Andrew Wiggins, Tracy McGrady, Chauncey Billups, Tim Duncan, Dwight Howard, and Derrick Rose.

Outside of his impactful years at Adidas and Reebok, Rivers has always been immersed in basketball culture. His career began as a high school teacher, coaching varsity basketball, cross country, track and the Oakland Soldiers AAU program. His passion for helping provide the country's finest exposure platforms led him to create or assist in the management of such iconic events as ABCD Camp, Boost Mobile Elite 24, The Path, Euro Camp, Adidas Nations, and The Summer Championships.

Rivers has spent two decades growing the game of basketball around the world. Tribute Sports Management was born from his passion for advising young athletes and ensuring that they have all the necessary tools to succeed on the court and in life.

An Oakland, CA and UC Davis alumn, Rivers resides in Portland with his wife of over 25 years, Gretchen. They have two children, Lauren (20) and Zachary (17).
Senior Director of Client Activation Services
Prior to joining TSM, Dennis lived in Akron, Ohio and served as the President of Ryden Enterprises - an organization specializing in sporting event planning and management. During his 20-year tenure at Ryden, he had successes in securing six figure sponsorship deals and creating and executing multiple philanthropic endeavors for NBA and NFL players.

Over the past 2 decades, Mr. Dennis has assisted major corporations and professional athletes in achieving their marketing, public relations and social media objectives. Dennis has extensive expertise in strategic planning and implementing programs centered around youth sports, while incorporating corporate branding initiatives. He has planned and executed strategic PR campaigns and integrated social media plans in Ohio, California, Las Vegas and Atlanta. He has a strong history of utilizing sports to produce events that enhance visibility, public perception and community goodwill.

In 1999, prior to joining Ryden, Mr. Dennis' vision and foresight was exhibited when he acquired the domain name He made this decision before LeBron reached his 10th grade year to ensure family ownership of this valuable commodity. As the foundation's first Executive Director, he was instrumental in laying the ground-work of this charitable arm for the James Family. His responsibilities included overseeing the relationships between the Board of Directors and James Family Foundation. He conducted annual finance audits, oversaw budgeting, supervised staff and delivered impactful community programming.

Dennis' primary role at TSM will be to manage all grassroots athlete's activation events, including autograph signings, community appearances, summer camps and community corporate partner relations. He will use his extensive network of NBA team partners and regional/national companies to create new business opportunities for our clients. Most importantly, he will serve as a knowledgeable mentor for our young clients while utilizing his 25 years of experience that he has garnered while working with some of the most iconic names in sports.

Here are a few legendary clients that he has worked with: Gary Payton, Jason Kidd, Terrell Brandon, Jim Brown, Ted Washington, Bernie Kosar, Drew Gooden and the late Bobby Phills. His consistently growing list of recent clients include Jaylen Brown, Aaron Gordon, JR Smith, Iman Shumpert, LeBron James, Sam Dekker, Travis Benjamin, Moriah Jefferson, Frank Mason, Dahntay Jones, Richard Jefferson and Alec Ogletree.

Dennis is a native of Akron, Ohio with lifelong ties to the Bay Area. He attended San Francisco State, earning his BS in Speech Communications. He currently resides in Las Vegas with his wife Jacqueline. They have two adult children Ryanaustin (27) and Jihad (23).
Barry Aberdeen is a certified FIBA / WNBA agent and has placed players in leagues around the world. He has a wealth of experience from being a coach, player, an agent. Barry has very good relations with all the teams in the NBA / G-League / WNBA and overseas. He has coached 3 national champions (Josh Hart, Marcus Ginyard, Lasan Kromah) and NBA players Josh Hart, Tyler Cavanaugh, Marcus Thornton and a list of many more. On the women's side, Barry has had players that received contracts with WNBA teams and also placed a number of female players overseas.
Client Services Coordinator
Lauren began competing in sports as a toddler having success in gymnastics, soccer and of course basketball. Prior to graduating from high school in 2016, she had recovered from three knee surgeries and served as captain of the Jesuit High School Girls Basketball team, leading them to a 3rd place finish in the Oregon 6A State Championships. It was during those multiple stints at physical therapy that Lauren began pursuing a career in sports off the court. While rehabbing during the summer prior to her junior year, she was appointed Player/Coach for Clutch Players, a traveling club basketball team. That experience taught her the importance of leadership, communication and patience early on.

Lauren parlayed a strong network into multiple event support roles in the adidas basketball sports marketing department working on national properties such as The Path, adidas Nations, LVL 3 and Euro Camp over a two-year period. After graduating from Jesuit, Lauren was selected to join the staff of the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. She held that position for three consecutive summers performing multiple marketing and hospitality roles involving fans, media and team front office members. She also gained entry level experience into the intricacies of game operations, TV production and interacting directly with NBA players, coaches and staff by serving as a liaison for PR and philanthropic needs.

More About Lauren
Currently, Lauren is a Business Marketing major at the University of San Diego and will be graduating in May 2020. Aside from studying and performing her duties at TSM, Lauren is a student manager for the USD Men's Basketball Team. She assists in the USD recruiting process by creating and distributing marketing materials and providing organizational support to the coaching staff and players during practices and games. Rivers recently completed a semester abroad studying and speaking conversational Spanish in Madrid, Spain.
Legal Counsel
Cindy, a graduate of Rice University and the University of Texas School of Law has a diverse, national trial and arbitration practice. Clients regularly seek Cindy's counsel and expertise in complex commercial litigation matters, securities fraud claims, FINRA arbitrations, broker disciplinary actions, injunction cases, non-competition and trade secret cases, executive compensation cases, and general business matters. Her clients include multi-national corporations, large national corporations, closely held businesses, physicians, brokers (registered representatives), and individual entrepreneurs. Cindy not only advises clients on specific matters, she also acts as outside general counsel, advising clients on a variety of matters and managing their legal needs and services.

In the area of employment disputes, Cindy represents individuals as well as major corporations in matters involving covenants not to compete; the protection of trade secrets and confidential information; fiduciary duty and the duty of loyalty; the drafting, interpretation and enforceability of professional employment agreements; and other matters relating to employee resignations and terminations or the movement of employees, partners or shareholders between firms.

Cindy has successfully represented thousands of individual investors in securities claims involving a variety of investments, often including non-traditional securities investments such as limited partnerships, options trading, insurance products, collateralized mortgage obligations and derivatives.

A founding partner of Moulton, Wilson & Arney, Cindy has experience as lead counsel handling jury and non-jury trials, injunction proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and appellate argument. She practices in both state and federal court and has substantial FINRA arbitration experience nationwide. She has successfully briefed and argued cases before the Texas Courts of Appeal and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Second Circuits. She has acted as an arbitrator and as Special Counsel to corporate boards.

Cindy enjoys the diversity of her practice and prides herself on her ability to understand complex transactions and the technical issues often presented by new cases. She dedicates herself to learning the fundamental principles of each client's business and incorporating that knowledge into successfully pursuing each client's goals.

Cindy has two sons, Samuel and Jonathan. She practices mindfulness, healthy eating, exercises regularly, and competed in American Ninja Warrior at age 50. Cindy is a Fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation, sits on the Brain & Bone Collaborative Committee at Houston Methodist Hospital, is an Advisory Board Member at the Houstonian Health Club, has contributed to Rice University, Texas Medical Center institutions and cancer research, and was recognized as a Keeton Fellow for charitable contributions to the University of Texas School of Law. Following her mother's death, she established the Gloria R. Levin Melanoma Research Foundation at Houston Methodist Hospital to fund melanoma research and treatment.
